Owls Compete in Season Opening UMPI Invitational

Presque Isle, ME – It was a beautiful day at Park Family Field, during the UMPI Invitational 6K.  Thomas College, Maine Maritime Academy, and U-Maine at Farmington all in attendance for the season opener.  MMA lead the way with a team score of 32 points, 2nd place went to Thomas with 35 points, Farmington earned 3rd with a score of 67 points. The Owls ended the meet in 4th with a team score of 96 points. John Hassett of MMA won the meet with a time of 19:54.

Zackory McAllister (Fy. Waterville, ME) lead the way for the Owls in his first college meet, finishing 13th with a time of 24:35.  Trever Levesque (Sr. Presque Isle, ME) finished 17th with a time of 25:16.  Hunter Dionne (So. Raymond, ME) placed 19th with a 25:34 time. Sean Miller (Sr. Eureka, CA) finished with a time of 26:07, placing 25th. Nicholas Clark (Fy. Athens, ME) rounds out the Owls top five runners with a time of 27:06, placing 27th.

The Owls head to Lyndon for the North Atlantic Conference Preview next Saturday, September 7th at 11:00am.
