A full men's harriers contingent showed their capabilities in this, their first team scoring venture of the 2013 campaign.  With three runners within seconds of each at the two mile mark and one other close behind, the Owls are showing their strength up front, and indeed through their first four positions as the pack time at this point for the quartet was but 40 seconds.

Sophomore Corey Hebert finished the rain-soaked and shortened course (5 miles to 7.6 kilometers) at 29:56, ahead of 76 other runners and good for 47th position.  Senior Philip Boody was but 15 seconds back in 51st position at 30:11.  Caribou native Jesse Sandstrom, in his first cross country tilt of this distance, was 69th with a clocking of 31:33.  Freshman Brandon Wade, also in his first university race, came in at 33:50 and 93rd

The Owls two other harriers were sophomore David Huntley (122nd, 42:26) and senior Richard Landry (123rd, 42:36).  The team score of 288 placed the Owls at 11th of 13 institutions (14 represented).
