Nashua, NH – The UMPI Owls men's soccer team traveled to New Hampshire to play in a non-conference match vs Fisher College, out of Boston, Massachusetts. UMPI lost to the Falcons, 6-0 in the 90-minute game.
Keith Mank (Raymond, ME) played the first half for the Owls in goal, finishing with four saves, allowing four goals. Cameron Kelley (Calais, ME) then finished the second half with four more saves. While the Owls offense finished the game with eight shots, three of which were on goal, the Falcons finished the game with 19 shots, 14 being on goal. The Falcons scored four of their six goals in the first half, in the 17th, 24th, 29th, and 38th minutes. Scoring two more in the 52nd and 68th minutes in the second half.
The Owls will head home to Presque Isle, to host their final two regular season games. The Owls will host North Atlantic Conference opponents Northern Vermont University-Lyndon to finish their season. Saturday Oct. 23 at 3:15PM.
