Nava was a 4 year varsity starter for Escambia High School in Pensacola, Florida where he was twice selected to the All-Area team.  While playing for the Gator's Nava recorded 46 assists and 43 goals, leading the team in assists for each of his 4 seasons. During 2020 Nava was also selected to the Florida Subway High school All Star Team. Nova also played club soccer for Perdido Bay FC for sixteen years.

Nova plans to study Criminal Justice at UMPI and would like to work for the FBI following graduation.  When asked about coming to UMPI this fall to play for the Owls Bryan stated "I am very excited to be a part of something bigger than myself and I am ready to compete with the guys at UMPI."

Wood was a 2-year varsity starter for Lake Blankley High School Patriots in Apopka, Florida and a member of the Golden Goal Sports Soccer Academy U19 team. He also competed for the ACYS Spirit United Soccer club in the Greater Orlando, Florida area.  Wood's High school coach Andrew Perdomo states, "I have had the pleasure of coaching Zacharry for 4 years at Lake Blankley High School.  During his time here, Zacharry has been an integral part of the boy's soccer program and helped lead the team to two ten win seasons and a trip to the District Final.  I am confident that he will make an excellent addition to the University of Maine at Presque Isle."

Wood plans to study Exercise Science and Pre-Physical Therapy at UMPI and hopes to become an athletic trainer following graduation.  When asked about coming to play soccer for the Owls this fall Wood stated, "My goal is to help my new school and squad reach new achievements for the coming season. I hope to improve and better myself as a player and person by learning from my new teammates and coaches."

U-Maine Presque Isle Head Soccer Coach Alan Gordon is extremely excited to have both Bryan and Zacharry join the Owls team in 2020.  "Both of these young men have the skill and athletic ability to step in and immediately make an impact on the success of the team.  The experience and knowledge they have gained while playing for both their high school and club teams has definitely prepared them to meet the challenges of playing in the competitive NCAA North Atlantic Conference.  I am looking forward to seeing them take the field with their new teammates in the fall."
