Owls Lose to Tough NAC Opponent - Thomas College

Presque Isle, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Owls hosted North Atlantic Conference opponent Thomas College on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The Terriers would take the game with a 5-0 victory in the 90-minute match.

Thomas started off aggressive with a goal at the 11 minute mark, then followed with two more goals at 22 and 23 minutes, Zenawi Bowen led the Terriers with two of those goals.  The Owls picked up their defense and ball control in the second half. Only allowing five shots on goal in the second half the Owls defense, the ball stayed in the middle of the field until the Terriers added two more goals late in the game.

Paul Kaplan (Jr. Embden, ME) and Jonah Hudson (Fy. Presque Isle, ME) led the Owls on the defensive end, while Keith Mank (Fy. Raymond, ME) ended the game with four saves.

The Owls will host Unity College at 1:00pm tomorrow September 22nd at Park Family Field.
