FORT KENT, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Owls Men's Soccer team (4-12) finished off their regular season play on the road as they travelled north to the University of Maine at Fort Kent (14-1). The Bengals, ranked number two in the USCAA, would win handily, dealing the Owls an 8-0 loss.
The Bengals would dominate possession and put 18 shots on goals. The scoring came early and often as the Bengals would put up five goals in the first half, and score three more within the first few minutes of the second half before relaxing their pressure. Lewis Cockburn (JR, Edinburgh, Scotland) would net three goals and be credited with an assist in the route.
The loss give the Owls a final record of 4-12.
