PRESQUE ISLE, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Owls (3-7-1) had a three-game win streak snapped by the University of Maine at Machias Clippers (8-3).  The Clippers would have control of the game from the start and leave Presque Isle with an 8-2 victory.

Machias would put three goals in the net in the first 18 minutes.  Three different Clippers would score multiple goals, including Haidar Al-Freihy (FR, Gray, ME) who's two goals in a minute's span would build the lead.  Derek Healy (SR, Hanover, MA) would get the Owls on the board in the 26th minute, but the Clippers would open up the gap with two more goals before half time.

Ahmed Suja (FR) and Adomaitis Valenzuela (SO, El Paso, TX) would also score two goals as Machias would ice the game away in the second half.  Cody Blair (SO, Ashland, ME) would connect on a goal off of a penalty kick late in the game, but otherwise it was the Clippers who controlled the game throughout, taking the game by a score of 8-2.
