|About the Owls||
The Owls dropped their first game of the season on Thursday in Canada against a strong ST. Thomas University squad. Nonetheless it was a successful first week for UMPI as they notched a pair of wins in Vermont last weekend.
With the losses of team 2011 MVP Craig Maffei and contributors Kyle Corrigan and Aaron Hutchins, one of the questions entering the season for the Owls had to be where was the scoring going to come from.
A leading candidate stepped forward in the opening week with Joel Massa (So./Millbury, MA) scoring three times including a game-winner against the College of St. Joseph.
Berkeley College Knights
|Head Coach||Stavros Zomopoulos (3rd Season)
|Last Game||at UMaine-Fort Kent Saturday, September 8th|
|Conference||Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference|
|About the Tommies||
It's been a tough start to the season for Coach Zomopoulos' Berkeley Knights. Through the squad's first two contests against FDU-Florham and Lehman College they have yet to tally their first goal, losing by a combined total of 8-0.
Sunday's game will be the 2nd in a two game Northern Maine swing for the Knights. They play at USCAA powerhouse UMaine-Fort Kent on Saturday at 2pm.
