Machias would hold that lead for the first five minutes of the second half, until the Owls were able to tie it up and Chase Vicaire (SR, Mattawamkeag, ME) would get loose and hit a three point shot.  The Clippers were able to tie the game at 50 at the nine minute mark, but they would never hold the lead again in the affair.  Machias would make it interesting down the stretch, closing to within a point on multiple occasions.  Jorge Milo (JR, Miami, FL) would hit a three with six seconds remaining, but Vicaire and Nick Lenhard (JR, Falcon, CO) would hit their freethrows to seal the win for the Owls.

Head Coach Mike Holmes talked about his team's effort after the game.  "I was pleased with our consistency in executing the defensive plan.  We helped, challenged, and rebounded a complete game.  Offensively we valued the ball and had guys make screening, passing, and rebounding plays.  Our four posts rebounded as well as in an game this year."

Vicaire led the scoring charge for the Owls with 18 points.  Kim Collins (JR, Oxen Hill, MD) would add 14 points, while Maurice Harris (SO, Miami, FL) would score ten.  Derek Healy (JR, Hanover, MA) would lead the team in rebounds with seven.

Brandon Blakely (JR, Albany, GA) would end up leading all scorers with 19 points.  Ivory Sneed Jr. (SR, Orlando, FL) finished with a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 14 rebounds, while Milo would finish with 14 points.
