UMPI CONTINUES HOT SHOOTING, GO 2-0 AT CAN-AM CLASSIC

Fort Kent, MAINE  --  The University of Maine-Presque Isle (6-5) cruised past Dalhousie Agricultural 92-28, behind a game-high 26 points from senior Michael Warner and 17 points from All-Tournament Selection Thiago Conceicao (FR Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).  The Owls nailed eleven three pointers and held a 54-24 advantage on the boards.

Dalhousie All-Tournament selection Taran Jordan would knock down a jumper from three point range to cut the Owl lead to 6 with 14:19 on the clock in the first half.  That would be as close as Dalhousie would come to the hot shooting Owls, as the Blue & Gold continued to add to their lead throughout the remainder of the game.

Jordan Led Dalhousie with seven points, seven rebounds and six assists.
UMPI will host Vermont Tech on Wednesday, January 8 as part of a Men's/Women's double, with women's action starting at 5:30pm.
