Owls' Trask Named AD3I "Player of the Week"

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – University of Maine – Presque Isle junior guard Brad Trask (Easton, Maine) has been named the Association of Division III Independents men's basketball Player of the Week. Trask averaged 15.0 points per game on 11-of-19 (57.9%) shooting from the floor, including 8-of-14 (57.1%) from three-point range. He also chipped in 2.0 rebounds per game and 2.5 assists. In the season finale at Vermont Tech, Trask single-handedly erased a Knights 29-22 advantage by hitting back-to-back-to-back 3 pointers and a baseline jumper in four trips down the court amounting to an 11-0 one-man run to give the Owls a 33-29 lead. He finished the game with 19 points on 5-of-9 (55.6%) shooting from beyond the arc.
