Presque Isle, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Men's Baseball team adds yet another first year player to their roster. Spencer Harman, a pitcher from Sidney, BC, Canada will begin his first year at UMPI this fall semester.
The pitcher has also spent time playing 3rd base in his high school years. Harman went to Parkland Secondary School in Sidney where he was coached by Dustin Robirtis. Coach Robirtis spoke highly of Spencer's work ethic and ability. As UMPI baseball coach Stinson, was able to speak to him and his family about his future at UMPI.
"After talking to Spencer and his family , I knew he would be a good fit to our campus and program." Coach Stinson said, "I am very excited to add him to our pitching staff and hearing him talk about playing for his Province, I know he will bring that same excitement and dedication to UMPI."
Spencer plans to major in Business while at UMPI.
The Owls athletic department and the baseball would like to welcome Spencer Harman to UMPI.
