Hitting Slump Continues For Owls

Boston, MA --  The Maine-Presque Isle hitting slump continued on day two of the Owls four game set with Fisher College, as the Owls managed just 2 hits in each game, losing 7-0 and 21-0 Sunday afternoon.

Game one: Fisher 7 UMPI 0

Andrew Bartlett held the Falcons to 4 earned runs in his 6 innings of work, but the Owls simply could not put together a solid offensive inning, as four Falcon hurlers held the Owls to 2 hits.

Freshman Saul Nunez and Soloman Fast collected hits for the Owls.

Game two:  Fisher 21 UMPI 0

The Falcons put 6 runs up in the first against Owl starter Nunez and never looked back, taking the night cap 21-0.

Brady Rowe and Adam Begos had hits for UMPI.  Presque Isle is now 4-15 on the season.
