Raiders Clip Owls 11-6

Nashua, N.H. --  Maine-Presque Isle recorded 11 hits, but could not contain the bats of the home standing Rivier University Raiders, dropping their game, 11-6 Friday evening.

The win improves the Raiders' overall record to 11-17 while UMPI slides to 4-11.

UMPI leadoff hitter Brady Rowe set the table by going 4-for-5 with a RBI. Tommy Collins added his own 3 hits, scoring 2 runs and Saul Nunez came off the bench with a 2-for-3 night.

Matt Curry suffered the loss as he went 6.2 innings allowing 8 runs (four earned) on 12 hits and striking out six.

The Owls will return to action with a double-header at Fisher College Saturday, as part of a four game set this weekend in Boston.
