PRESQUE ISLE, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Athletic Department is proud to announce that the addition of Men's and Women's Track and Field to begin competition in 2017-18.
"Track and field is the next logical step in the growth of our athletics at University of Maine at Presque Isle," said Athletic Director Mike Holmes. "It will help with the recruiting of other sports like soccer and cross country, and most importantly bring additional quality UMPI student athletes to our campus."

The addition of Men's and Women's Track and Field will bring Owls Athletics to 14 NCAA sports, including Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's Golf, Men's and Women's Nordic Skiing, Men's and Women's Soccer, Softball, and Volleyball.
