Patrick Baker has been the Assistant Athletic Trainer since 2011. Baker covers all sports, and is also a lab instructor in the CAATE approved athletic training education program at UMPI.
Baker graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 2008. For the last two years, Baker has worked at Colby College as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for men's lacrosse, women's field hockey, men's basketball, cross country, Nordic skiing, tennis, and indoor track. He has also worked at Montana State University as a graduate assistant athletic trainer covering men's soccer, baseball, track and field, and cross country.
Baker is a licensed athletic trainer through the state of Maine, and is a member of the National Athletic Training Association, Maine Athletic Trainers Association, and the Eastern Athletic Trainers Association. He is also certified through the American Heart Association as a professional rescuer.
Patrick and his wife Amanda reside in Caribou, Maine.
